Herbed Sausage Links And Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh link sausage
2 large firm apples
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. sage
1 c. cider
Preparation

Slice peeled and cored apples into rings.
Heat butter in skillet.
Add apples and cook until fruit just softens.
Remove from pan.
Add sausage to same pan and fry it until browned.
Pour off fat.
Add herbs and cider to pan and bring to gentle boil. Continue to cook until the sausage is thoroughly cooked and the liquid is reduced to a thick syrup.
Return apples to pan to reheat them and serve.
Serves four.
