Hamburger Upside-Down Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. process Cheddar cheese, grated
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1 or 2 pkg. frozen asparagus spears
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as package label directs until just tender. Drain.
