Popcorn Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. popped corn
    1/3 c. almonds
    salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Combine popped corn and nuts, toss with butter and salt. Spread on flat pan, combine sugar, 1/2 cup butter and corn syrup in saucepan.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Then boil, stirring occasionally until turns light caramel color.
    Remove from heat, add vanilla. Pour over popcorn, stir to coat.
    Spread out.
    Break apart when cool.
    Store in airtight container.
    Yields 2 pounds.
