Company Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 pt. sour cream (I use a little less)
    1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. corn flakes with 2 Tbsp. butter, melted (I double this)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with skin. Cool, peel and slice in small pieces. Heat butter with soup; add onion, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix with potatoes. Put in a greased oblong baking dish. Top with corn flakes that have been mixed with the butter. Refrigerate overnight.
