Cranberry Hamburg Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce (use little over half the can)
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 medium green pepper, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Spread the sugar over the bottom of a greased loaf pan. Spread cranberry sauce over the sugar.
    Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
    Put the meat mixture on top of the cranberry sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool 10 minutes and turn onto the serving platter.
