Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. whole milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 yolks of egg
3 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and milk. Put in 2-quart microwave dish and nuke 7 to 8 minutes, until it gets warm. Continue to stop and stir to prevent lumping. Then add your egg yolks. Add vanilla and teaspoon of butter. Then add your bananas. Beat egg whites until stiff. Then add 2 teaspoons of sugar and a teaspoon vanilla. Mix thoroughly. In your pie dish, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, then pour pie mixture over. Optional: Add more bananas. Then add icing meringue. Cook at 350\u00b0 until brown.
