Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can Angel Flake coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    5 beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks. Mix flour, soda, coconut and nuts; stir well.
    Add to first 3 ingredients the buttermilk and flour mixture in 3 parts.
    Last, add well beaten egg whites.
    Make 3 layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
