Savoy Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean boneless beef, cut in strips
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned)
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 large green peppers, seeded and cut in strips
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. bacon fat
    1 large garlic clove, minced
    1 to 1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; toss meat into mixture.
    Shake off excess.
    Heat bacon fat; stir beef in about 4 minutes or until browned.
    Simmer all together, covered, 45 to 60 minutes, or until meat is tender.
    Serve with steamed rice.
    Serves 6.
