Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites
    a pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients and cook until clear, set aside to cool.
    Take egg whites and add a pinch of salt.
    Beat until peaked.
    Add mixture that was set aside and beat until creamy. Add 6 tablespoons of sugar gradually.
    Beat until creamy.
    Bake until brown at 300\u00b0.
    For 2 pies, double all ingredients.
