6 Weeks Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, green pepper, celery, carrots and onion and cover with 2 cups water and salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
