Cool Whip Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. water
    2 pkg. Knox gelatine
    1 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. nuts (if desired)
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. salad dressing (scant)
    1 tub Cool Whip or whipped cream
Preparation
    Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil, then set aside to cool. Add the rest of the ingredients.
    Mix well and refrigerate until set.
    Can be made the day before.
