Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size green tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Wash and slice green tomatoes in 1/2-inch thick slices. Sprinkle with salt.
    Roll each slice in flour until coated on each side.
    Place oil in skillet and heat.
    Place floured tomato slices in skillet.
    Fry over low heat until browned on both sides.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 4 servings.
