Hamburger-Vegetable Soup(Yield: 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes (unsalted)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato juice (unsalted)
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. thinly sliced fresh carrots
    1 c. diced raw potatoes
    1 c. chopped cabbage
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. water
Preparation
    Brown meat in large skillet. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf before serving.
