Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising cornmeal mix (white)
2 large eggs
1 1/4 c. whole milk
1/4 c. bacon grease (hardened) or all-purpose shortening
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease iron skillet.
In large bowl, mix corn meal, eggs, milk and hardened bacon grease or all-purpose shortening.
Pour into iron skillet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
Best eaten while hot with butter.
