Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 pt. jam
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Sift flour and spices together.
    Mix eggs, sugar, oil and buttermilk.
    Gradually add flour mixture to this.
    Add jam and pecans last.
    Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Frost with favorite frosting.
