Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raw cleaned shrimp
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. gumbo file
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery, garlic, bell pepper and parsley in bacon drippings until soft.
    Add tomato paste, tomatoes and 1 cup water. Add all other ingredients except shrimp and gumbo file.
    Cook slowly, about 1 hour.
    Add raw shrimp; cook 15 minutes.
    Add gumbo file.
    Serve over rice.
