Pralines(Club Member: Ashley Wilson) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. light cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Lightly butter a sheet of aluminum foil. Combine sugars, cream and salt in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until 228\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Stir in butter and pecan halves. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until 236\u00b0. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Beat mixture with wooden spoon until slightly thickened. Drop candy by large spoonfuls on buttered foil.
