Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly.
    Press half of crumbs into a greased 9-inch baking pan.
    Cover with 4 cups diced rhubarb.
    Mix remaining ingredients and cook until thick and clear; pour over rhubarb.
    Top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for 1 hour.
    Cut into squares.
    Serve warm, plain or with whipped cream.
