Sour Cream Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 c. sour cream
vegetable cooking spray
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a medium bowl, beat together the egg, milk and margarine.
Add egg mixture and sour cream to flour mixture.
Stir just until blended.
Pour mixture into an 8-inch square baking pan, coated with vegetable cooking spray.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Yields 9 servings (each serving contains 222 calories).
