Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. squash
    4 c. onions
    5 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 red pepper
    1 green pepper
Preparation
    Grind squash.
    Grind onions.
    Cover with salt.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Drain; add vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, turmeric and pepper.
    Cut up red and green peppers.
    Cook 30 minutes.
    Yields 5 to 7 pints.
