Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
Preparation
-
Mix all together.
Starting with 1/4 cup milk, add gradually. More can be added if needed to make a firm dough.
Pinch off and roll out real thin.
Cut; drop in boiling broth.
These can be frozen after being rolled out and cut.
