Chicken And Wild Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 fryers
1 c. water
1 c. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 small cans mushrooms
1/4 lb. oleo
2 (6 1/4 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice
1 c. sour cream
1 can mushroom soup
Preparation

Cook chicken, water, sherry, salt, onion, curry powder and celery for 1 hour. Remove chicken from stove and debone when cool. Saute mushrooms in butter.
Cook rice in broth (make up to required volume with water).
Mix chicken, rice, mushrooms, sour cream and mushroom soup.
Put in 3-quart baking dish.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
