Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
4 apples, peeled and chopped

Preparation

Pour water over apples.
Cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Measure flour, then sift flour, spices, salt and soda twice.
Add flour to sugar mixture.
Add apples and the water; mix.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
