Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Combine beaten egg, sugar, milk and melted shortening.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to bowl containing egg, sugar, milk and shortening.
Mix well.
Pour in greased 9 x 9-inch square pan.
