Rummer'S Hip Patters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can condensed Borden milk
    1 (11.5 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt first three ingredients over hot water. Mix the rest of the ingredients together by hand. Press 2/3 of batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Pour chocolate mixture over batter mixture and then spoon the rest of the batter over the chocolate mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut while warm.
