Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger, cloves and allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. white sugar
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. oil
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour mixture into 3 (9-inch) pans and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until done.
Put applesauce or apple butter between each layer.
