Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cabbage, steam 5 minutes
    1 lb. lean hamburger
    3 to 4 Tbsp. uncooked washed rice
    1 or 2 onions, minced
    1 can solid packed tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    2 lemons or juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. raisins or prunes if desired
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. water or more
Preparation
    Mix meat, salt, pepper, rice, 1/2 tomato paste, 1/4 cup water or more until quite soft.
    (Don't forget the rice absorbs moisture.)
    Roll mixture in cabbage leaves and put into and cover with other ingredients.
    Add enough tomato paste and water to cover.
    Simmer 2 1/2 hours at least.
