Pat'S Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. apple butter
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 level tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. coconut
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix the eggs, shortening, sugar, apple butter, buttermilk and jam.
    Add flour, soda and salt.
    Add coconut, nuts and floured raisins last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes in three 9-inch pans.
