Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 stick butter, softened
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat first 4 ingredients until dissolved.
    Bring to a rolling boil; cook for 1 minute.
    Set off heat; add vanilla and beat until right consistency to spread.
    If it becomes too thick for spreading, add small amount of milk, being careful not to add too much at a time.
