Ground Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    5 3/4 c. tomato juice
    1 c. stewed tomatoes
    2 tsp. basil
    2 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 diced onion
    1 small can mushrooms or fresh
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder or fresh
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. French-style beans (1 can or fresh)
Preparation
    Brown beef thoroughly and drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 hours.
    Low in fat.
    Low in calories.
    High in fiber. Freezes well.
