Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix.
    Shape into balls and flatten to 1/2-inch thick.
    Prick with a fork.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
