Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 c. sweet relish
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Boil whole potatoes until tender when stuck with fork.
    Cool and peel.
    (Better if potatoes and hard-boiled eggs are cooled in refrigerator before peeling.)
    Chop potatoes and eggs in small pieces; mix with rest of ingredients.
    (Use more mayonnaise if needed.)
    Put in casserole dish and sprinkle with paprika.
    Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
