Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    salt (to taste)
    pepper (to taste)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in water.
    In a separate pan, melt butter then add flour stiring until smooth.
    Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper.
