Candy Pastel Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. light Karo syrup
1/3 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
nut halves
1 tsp. vanilla or any flavor
1 lb. confectioners sugar
food coloring
Preparation

Beat 1/3 cup Karo light corn syrup, margarine, vanilla and salt.
Mix in confectioners sugar and coloring.
Knead mixture until smooth.
You may want to keep your hands dusted with confectioners sugar as you knead.
Shape into 1 1/2-inch patties. Press top of patties with a fork then top with a walnut half.
