Batter-Up Beef Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked beef, cut in 1/2 to 1-inch pieces
1/2 c. cooked onions
1 c. cooked carrots, cut in chunks
1 c. cooked potatoes, cut in 1 1/2-inch chunks
1 c. beef gravy
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz. pkg.) grated Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine beef, onions, carrots, potatoes and gravy; set aside. Melt butter in bottom of 8-inch square baking dish in oven. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.
Stir until blended and pour into baking dish.
Pour beef mixture over batter.
Do not stir.
Bake and serve.
