Scotch Parfait - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup honey
3/4 cup Scotch
2 c whipping cream
Grated bitter chocolate (do not substitute)
Toasted slivered almonds
Maraschino cherries (opt)
Preparation

Blend honey and Scotch (this takes a little time to incorporate the Scotch into the honey).
Whip cream until stiff. Fold honey mixture into cream.
Spoon into parfait glasses and freeze overnight.
Prior to serving, top with grated chocolate, almonds, and a cherry.
If desired you may purchase chocolate dessert cups from a gourmet food shop
and spoon the mixture into cups prior to serving.
This needs to made 24 hours in advance. This does keep well in freezer.
