Chadwick Island Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/3 c. water
2 large egg yolks, beaten
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

In a 2-quart pan, whisk sugar, flour, salt, pepper and mustard.
Whisk in water until smooth.
Whisk in egg yolks and blend.
Add rest of ingredients, except oil; whisk constantly. Cook until thickened (5 minutes).
Do not let boil.
Take off heat and beat in oil.
Store in covered container.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
