Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
pepper
1 c. saltine crackers, crushed
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
paprika
Preparation

Melt 1/4 cup butter and mix with crackers.
Press into 9-inch pie pan.
Saute onions in 2 tablespoons butter until tender, then place them in the crumb shell.
Combine milk, eggs, salt and pepper and pour over onions.
Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
