Peach Festival Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (about 3/4 stick)
    2 c. sliced, peeled peaches
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. presifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter in casserole.
    Add peaches. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
    Combine remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Pour batter over peaches; bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve vanilla ice cream over cobbler.
