English Toffee(Tastes Like A Heath Bar) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans plus 1/2 c. later
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 pkg. mini semi-sweet morsels
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy pan
    and
    put in sugar.
    Cook over medium heat, stir, stir, stir until sugar is melted.
    After it starts to melt, put in
    1 1/2 cups chopped pecans.
    Stir until pulls away from pan;
    then
    put
    in
    cream
    of
    tartar, really stir.
    Take off when
    it
    turns
    pinkish-tan,
    put
    on greased cookie sheet. Pour package of
    morsels on top of hot mixture, then sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped
    pecans on top.
    Cool, slice and enjoy.
