Caramel Crackers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes Ritz Bits crackers
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    In a greased, large shallow pan, combine crackers and nuts.
    In a saucepan, boil for 5 minutes over medium heat, the following:
    margarine, corn syrup and brown sugar. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda.
    Blend well.
    Pour the entire mixture over crackers and nuts.
    Coat well.
    Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Pour onto wax paper and break apart.
    After cool, store in airtight container.
