Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar and oil.
    Mix well.
    Sift all dry ingredients together.
    Add half dry mixture to eggs, sugar and oil; beat well.
    Mix in buttermilk.
    Add remaining ingredients. Add jam; mix well. Fold in pecans.
    Pour into two 8-inch greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake springs back when touched.
