Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in a
saucepan.
Add
sugar
and stir until dissolved.
Cool these ingredients
slightly.
Beat in egg and vanilla, sifted flour, baking
powder
and
salt.
Add coconut and mix thoroughly.
Pour batter
into
greased 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
Cut into bars.
