Hamburger Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
2 large onions, sliced thin
1 or 2 tsp. chili powder
1 large can tomato juice
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
2 c. uncooked regular rice
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large skillet, cook meat, onions and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Drain off fat.
Put meat and vegetables in casserole dish (4 quart). Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder, 1/2 of the can of tomatoes and tomato juice.
Use last 1/2 to keep rice moist during cooking; add as needed.
Cover and bake 1 hour.
