7-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 medium onion
    1 medium green pepper
    2 stalks celery
    1 (12 oz.) bag frozen peas
    2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Break lettuce up into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chop onion, green pepper and celery.
    Spread over lettuce.
    Pour peas over top; spread Hellmann's over peas and sprinkle sugar, crumbled bacon and cheese on top.
    Refrigerate overnight for best taste.
