Potato Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, diluted with milk
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Thaw hash browns at room temperature for 20 minutes.
    Put into a covered 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    In a bowl, combine soup, milk, sour cream and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
    Mix with whisk.
    Pour over potatoes; sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
    Dot with butter; bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
