Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf unsliced Bread
3 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese
1/4 lb. shredded or chopped Sharp Cheddar
1 stick Butter
pinch Dry Mustard
2 Egg Whites (stiffly beaten)
Preparation

Trim crusts and cut Bread in cubes (1 inch).
Melt Cheese and Butter in top of double boiler (over hot water) until like welsh rabbit and add Dry Mustard.
Whisk until smooth; remove from heat; whisk in Egg Whites.
Carefully dip Bread Cubes into cheese with a fondue fork and spread Cheese on sides with butter knife until well coated.
Place on greased cookie sheet and refrigerate overnight. Freeze in brown paper bag.
Bake at 400 for 12 or 15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Serve hot.
They melt in your mouth.
