Cheese And Bacon Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. light cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    pinch of cayenne pepper
    1 1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1 partially baked tart pastry (without sugar)
    10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the bottom of the tart shell. Combine the eggs, cream, salt, nutmeg and cayenne pepper in a bowl and beat to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the cheese over the bacon and ladle the mixture over all. Bake for 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Lower the heat to 350\u00b0. Bake for 30 minutes more or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve in wedges, hot or cold.
    (Can add mushrooms and onions cooked in bacon grease.)
