Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced onion
    1 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. catsup or chili sauce
    1 c. meat stock
Preparation
    Brown onions and celery in shortening; add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes. Makes 2 cups.
    Serve with diced or pulled cooked beef or pork.
