Basic Pie Shell(Diabetic Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 to 4 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Chill shortening.
    Cut shortening into flour and salt until mixture forms crumbs.
    Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Flip mixture around in bowl until a ball forms.
    Wrap in plastic wrap.
    Chill at least 1 hour.
    Roll to fit a 9-inch pie pan.
    Fill with pie filling, or prick with fork.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until firm, or leave unbaked.
